MA/PhD
The MA program is intended to develop research capability in various fields of translation, as well as to provide advanced training in areas such as terminology, computerized translation, translation teaching or literary translation. It is desirable that students have practical experience in translation before entering the program. The PhD program will focus on theories, history and pedagogy of translation as interlingual and intercultural communication; and lexicology, terminology, and technologies as applied to translation. The department also participates in the following collaborative program: Canadian Studies (PhD).
