MA/PhD
The principal areas of specialization at the master’s level include: studies of minority groups, in particular francophones in minority situations in Canada; sociology of international and community development; political sociology; and social relations of gender. The doctoral program’s two main fields of research are minorities and cultures, and political sociology. The department also participates in the following collaborative programs: Women’s Studies (MA) and Canadian Studies (PhD).
