MA/PhD

The MA program has three fields of specialization: religions in Canada (including Amerindian and Inuit traditions); religion and culture; and women and Religion. The PhD program also focuses on religions in Canada, and on religions in a comparative cultural context while favouring the methods of anthropology, history, psychology and sociology. The department also participates in the following collaborative programs: Women’s Studies (MA), Medieval and Renaissance Studies (MA) and Canadian Studies (PhD).
