MA/PhD

The programs’ main research areas are: literary creation, French literature (Middle Age until today) and Quebec literature (from its origins until today) including Franco-Canadian literature. Students must demonstrate proficiency in the French language, as all courses are taught in French. The department also participates in the following collaborative programs: Women’s Studies (MA), Medieval and Renaissance Studies (MA) and Canadian Studies (PhD).
